Now you've come back from a trip, either you ran it or it was someone else's. Now what.
Before you forget who was on the trip, who did what and where you went for that matter, fill in the relevant stuff in the log book. If the trip leader is being slack then get on his arse about it. The log book should contain information such as people on the trip, what they did, where you went, what the water was like (if a river trip) and a brief explanation of what happened. Information that may be useful to people running trips in the future should be filed either in the cabinet or rivers file. This may include
- costs
- river information
- drive round
- commercial operator
- river hazards
- river levels and how to get them
- how to get there
- who to talk to
- Visa's
- Access
Basically everything on the trip guidelines, don't forget that the trip guideline can and should be edited/added to on return.
